IMPACT Counseling Grants
Life Interrupted Foundation’s IMPACT Counseling Grant program is dedicated to helping individuals with the cost of grief counseling following an unexpected loss. We know that financial challenges often come with loss, and we believe that everyone who needs counseling, whether individually or in a group, should have access to it, no matter their financial situation.
Amounts range from $500-$1000 to cover the initial sessions of grief therapy. These grants can be used for individual counseling or group counseling with one of our partnered counseling groups. In addition to IMPACT Grants, our partnered counselors will offer discounted counseling services (regardless of grant approval) through Life Interrupted Foundation to ensure our bereaved have access to continued and affordable support.
Life Interrupted has established a specific criteria of eligibility to receive grant funding. While we encourage all those dealing with the loss of a loved one to apply for aid, we strive to direct our support to those facing the greatest financial hardships.
IMPACT Counseling Grants
IMPACT Counseling Grants will be awarded to children and individuals who have experienced sudden loss, and is based on our specific criteria. Any money distributed will be paid directly to the counseling practice of choice.
At this time, we are able to offer grief counseling grants between $500-$1,000. The amount an individual or family is able to receive is based on our Life Interrupted point system and requires a consultation from a licenced grief counselor. To ensure fair and equitable distribution of financial aid, the
Life Interrupted Foundation's IMPACT Program has established specific criteria for applicants.
IMPACT Grant Review Process: Applications are accepted monthly on a rolling basis

Applications are accepted until the 10th of every month. Applications received after the 10th of the month will be rolled to the following month.

There will be an ongoing review of applications and required documents. If eligibility criteria is met, a pre-approval of applications will be sent to the Life Interrupted Grant Committee by the 11th of the month, and a background check on all applicants will be performed.

Life Interrupted Grant committee will review, approve or deny applications, and give the final counseling aid amounts to applicant(s) within 10 days.

IMPACT Counseliing Grant will be paid directly to a licensed grief counselor upon approval and assessment.
*If application is denied, applicant will be notified via email of the decision.
